1. As a customer using both ASM and VI products, what happens to my Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup if I have two different MFA setups for VI and ASM?
The MFA Setup done previously in ASM will take precedence and work for the Single Login page. If you wish to change your MFA setup, this can be done from ASM’s Security settings.

2. As a VI customer using an authenticator app for MFA, will my authenticator app continue to work as before?
Unfortunately, any MFA Setup done previously in VI will no longer work. Once the single login changes are in, you will be prompted to redo your MFA setup at the time of login.
3. As a VI customer, will I gain access to ASM with the unified login?
Yes, with the new unified login, VI customers will also gain access to a basic Free version of the ASM platform. If you wish to explore other ASM features and understand its capabilities, please contact

4. As an existing customer of ASM, will I gain access to VI with the unified login?
Absolutely. With the unified login, ASM customers will also have access to a free version of the VI platform. If you wish to explore the features in more detail, contact

5. What features are available in the Free Tier of ASM? What additional features are exclusive to Premium customers?
The Free Tier in ASM gives you a sneak peek into your domain's external attack surface, with limits on the number of assets and exposures. Premium customers unlock several additional features and integrations to give you a more comprehensive view.
6. What features are included in the Free Tier of VI, and what additional features are exclusive to Premium customers?
Users with "Free" entitlement will get only the summary level information like score, number of threats, number of threat actors, number of posts and discussions, number of associated weaknesses, number of affected platforms, number of plugins, etc., whereas the subscription customers get the detailed information for each of the data topics.
7. Are there plans to discontinue the individual URLs for VI and ASM?
No, both products can still be accessed using the URLs that directly take you to the respective platforms.
8. Should I expect any changes as an API customer of VI?
Yes, If this is your first login since the switch to the common login, you will have to regenerate your API Key
The key can be regenerated using one of the following methods:
- Utilize the Login API or
- Utilize the UI - Navigate to the ASM Product -> Configuration -> Security -> API Token > CREATE
The new API Keys generated will not expire. This means you can use the same key without needing to log in each time. If you wish to reset your API key, you can do so at any time through the UI - Navigate to the ASM Product -> Configuration -> Security -> API Token > REGENERATE
9. As an ASM API customer, should I expect any changes? Will my previous API key remain functional?
All APIs for ASM can be accessed with the familiar base URL:
https://api.securin.io. Your previous API keys will continue to remain functional.
10. We currently use Single-Sign-on(SSO) in our organization to login to ASM. Do we need to redo the setup with the SAML configuration?
No, there will be no need to redo the SSO Login setup with SAML Configuration. Your existing configuration will remain intact. On the login page, the link 'Sign in with Single Sign-On' is now replaced with a small icon for SSO.

12. What happens if I mistakenly set the wrong application as my default?
